Ginevra Vlci udoli

Ginevra is an exceptionally bright young female with excellent environmental confidence, strong handler connection, and the balanced temperament expected from a well-bred German Shepherd.
Raised within the Vlci udoli program in the Czech Republic, Ginevra has received extensive early socialization and exposure to a wide variety of everyday environments. She has been evaluated around other dogs, cats, rabbits, deer, and horses and has shown no inappropriate aggression or chasing behavior.
She is equally comfortable in busy environments. Ginevra has been taken into cities, airports, and other unfamiliar places and moves confidently through noise, people, traffic, different surfaces, and new surroundings.
With strangers, Ginevra is appropriately reserved. She does not feel the need to greet or interact with everyone she meets, but neither does she react aggressively or defensively when approached. She may initially choose to ignore someone unfamiliar, but once she accepts that person, she is comfortable in their presence. This natural neutrality is exactly the type of temperament we value in a German Shepherd. Ginevra is a reserved observer with strangers.
Ginevra is closely related to both Mafie (Great Aunt) and Fatima Nemesis (Grandmother). Both of those females instantly physically intervened to decisively stop violent attacks upon their families. Once matured, Ginevra will also offer that peace of mind without being a liability.
Ginevra develops a strong bond with her person quickly. When she recently transitioned to Petr for further development, he spent approximately two hours quietly bonding with her without using food or toys. Once she accepted him, she was completely comfortable with him and was already working cooperatively in obedience within a day and a half. This matches the reports from the new family of her brother Radek (Giordano).
She is attentive and responsive without being frantic or demanding. Ginevra enjoys learning, wants to work with her handler, and is equally capable of settling into normal daily life.
Her combination of confidence, intelligence, adaptability, natural awareness, and strong attachment to her person makes her especially well suited as a family or personal companion and protector for someone who wants a German Shepherd involved in an active lifestyle.
She has basic obedience and an early IGP foundation, so there is plenty of ability for an owner who enjoys continued training, advanced obedience, nose work, protection work, or other activities. However, she does not need a competitive sport home to be fulfilled.
Ginevra is a full littermate to Giordano Vlci udoli (Radek), who recently arrived in the United States and joined his new family. Testimonials from Tori P. can be found at the bottom of this page and on our Testimonials page.
